Particulars of the Execution of James Pratt & John Smith, Who were Executed at the Old Bailey this Morning. 1 p. The typeset document is appended
with handwritten date (Friday, Nov. 27, 1835). An account of the conviction of Pratt and Smith “of an unnatural crime” and execution, by hanging. “The
evidence against these wretched men was so conclusive, that not the least shadow of doubt remained of their guilt.” This one-page document includes an
illustration of two men hanging at the gallows and a letter by John Smith to a friend written before his execution.
