MacKay, A Sketch of the History of Scots Law, 1882
AE. J. G. Mackay's address titled, "a Sketch of the History of Scots Law," delivered in the university of Edinburgh, and reprinted from the Journal
of Jurisprudence. His essay traced the historical causes which have resulted in the form of jurisprudence specific to Scotland. Beginning with King
James V of Scotland in 1532, the system of jurisprudence began to develop. The author reviewed the history of the changes throughout the next three
