The Inner Temple Library MS Collection, Unit 2, The Barrington Collection: n.a., offerings as of May 2012, 4 online volumes. (The Inner Temple
Library MS Collection, Unit 2, The Barrington Collection: n.a., offerings as of 2019, 4 online volumes. (The Barrington Collection of manuscripts was
contained on 21 of the 256 microfilm reels comprising the filmed edition of the manuscripts held by the Library of the Honourable Society of the Inner
Temple. As of 2019, some 20% of the Barrington reels had been digitized and mounted on LLMC-Digital. In the online version all of the contents from each
microfilm reel are contained in one single online “volume”; with the volumes numbered in the same order as the microfilm reels. The first entry of the
online run is reserved for an LLMC-prepared Short Guide to the Barrington manuscripts available at this time. Users are reminded that a very erudite
guide to the manuscripts is provided in the Catalogue of the Manuscripts in the Library of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple: ed. by J. Conway
Davies, Vol. 1-3; which is also available on LLMC-Digital. Davies’ essays on Daines Barrington himself, and on the Barrington Collection, are
contained in his work in Vol. 1, on pp. 51-56 and 56-61 respectively. Page references to the Davies Catalogue for the block of Barrington materials contained
in each online volume are provided in the LLMC Short Guide for Unit 1 discussed above.
