Hardwicke’s King's Bench Reports, 1733-36 (1766)
Reports of cases argued and adjudged in the Court of King’s Bench in the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth years, of his late Majesty King George the
Second during which time the Right Honourable the Earl of Hardwicke was Lord Chief of that court. With tables of the names of the cases and principal
matters, to which is prefixed a proposal for rendering the laws of England clear and certain, humbly offered to the consideration of both Houses of
Parliament, xxi+178p., London, Printed for W. Owen, 1766. (This reporter contains selected cases on a variety of topics from the Court of King’s Bench
between 1733 and 1736. The advertisement at the beginning of the volume indicates that some of these cases may be found elsewhere, but in this
collection they are more complete in stating the facts and in including the arguments of the bench and bar. Each case includes notes in the margins. A table
of cases begins on p.xix and the table of principal matters begins on p.173.)
