1774-03-31, Boston Port Act
March 31, 1774 Boston Port Act, passed by the British Parliament which was the blockade of the port from landing and discharging, lading or shipping
of goods, wares, and merchandise at town and within the harbor. The act was a response to the "dangerous commotions and insurrections" of the town.
