volume issued by Bailey.) (Bailey’s predecessor, D.J. M’Cord, covered equity cases through 1827. Bailey’s coverage begins in 1839. There was no
reporting of Chancery appeals cases for the years 1828-29. For a partial explanation, see pref., pp. v-vi.)
