subsequently enacted as a whole by the legislature as positive law. The revision commissioners were John S. Murdock, Wayne H. Whitman and Herbert M.
Sherwood. The commissioners were also instructed to prepare an index, but, no appropriation having been made to cover the expenses of preparing and
printing one, declined to do so. An index was prepared later by others under the supervision of the Secretary of State and published as a separate title
that is also offered elsewhere on this site.)
