Attorney General Reports, 1857-
|
|
Annual reports of the Attorney General of Pennsylvania: 1857–1942, var. state printers, all published. (The Office of Attorney General in Pennsylvania was created by legislative act in 1857; the same act mandating biennial reports. In 1923 the Office of A.J became the Justice Department. Reports were published only for the years 1857-1922 and 1931-42. The fact that in many of the states there were differing patterns of publication for the A.G reports and opinions makes for a confusing literature. To minimize confusion in its online offerings, LLMC has chosen to group all of the U.S. state attorney generals’ reports and opinions in two separate series for each state. For the Pennsylvania A.G. Opinions, see the separate Opinions series elsewhere on this site.)
