1859? Report of the Committee on Internal Improvements which recommended the bill to amend the Acts of 1854-55 and 1856-57 to facilitate the
construction of the Western North Carolina Railroad. The bill would allow, among various provisions, to select the best route across the Blue Ridge and to
allow western extensions. Various reports and other documents were attached although the proposed was not. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of
titles originally held by the University of North Carolina Library at Chapel Hill).
