1775-03-17, Letter from A Son of Freedom on R. & J. Murray
|
|
March 17, 1775 letter from "A Son of Freedom," supporting the position that Robert and John Murray should leave New York Province. Of note these men unloaded a ship arriving from London, despite the Non-Importation Association rule to the contrary. The author warned against leniency, calling them "wantonly, wickedly," among other terms. See LLMC # 20892, 20896, 20899, 20904-5, and 20910 for related documents. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York Historical Society Library).
