Broadside, written under the pseudonym of Brutus, regarding the qualifications for the the New York General Assembly. The author specifically objected to the disqualification of judges, and the need to be a resident of the locations he sought to represent, while allowing John De Noyelles to serve. The latter was charged by the Grand Jury of stealing and other violations. Brutus urged an investigation of De Noyelles regarding his conduct. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York Historical Society Library).
