July 28, 1753 Broadside issued by Gov. George Clinton of the New York Province. The proclamation ordered sheriffs, constables and other officers of Albany and Dutchs Counties to apprehend persons who kidnapped Robert and Johannes Vanduersen from their home, under the guise of a warrant for trespass. The basis for this issue was a land dispute with Massachusetts and New Hampshire. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York Historical Society Library).
