Two copies of a February 27, 1695 Broadside from Gov. Benjamin Fletcher of New York and Connecticut declaring the March 27th to be a day of fasting and penance, as well a requirement that all desist from any work. The purpose of this day is to request forgiveness of sins and success by the military in its endeavors.
