May 10, 1837 address by Thomas Miner, M.D., president of the society, to the Annual Convention of the Medical Society of Connecticut. A significant part of this speech was focused upon the "quacks" that seek to practice, as contrasted with physicians who are schooled and licensed. There are two copies of this address.
