House No. 20 The Committee on Elections heard from aggrieved voters in West Springfield and submitted a report. The voting meeting in the town was
held on the proper day in November; it was long, contentious, and badly managed. After investigation, the Committee decided that two men from West
Springfield were not entitled to seats in the House. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts State Library).
Title:   The Committee on elections, to whom was committed the remonstrance of Heman Day, and others, inhabitants of West Springfield, against the election of Warren Chapin and Henry Phelon, two of the members returned to this House from said town, and to whom was also referred the memorial of James Kent and others, inhabitants of said town, touching said election, report.
