House No. 10 The Committee on Elections heard remonstrances from citizens of Lynn against the seven men elected to the House of Representatives.
Everything was fine before the election, but on the day, many ballots were counted before the polls closed and ballots were physically mishandled. The
Committee was not pleased with this, but could not find that any fraud had been committed, so the men were seated in the House anyway. (Digitized from
