**House No. 31 Abstract of the returns of the several Registers of Deeds in this Commonwealth. On March 2, 1837, the Secretary of State submitted
the returns for 1836. Not all counties reported. The chart attached showed the name of the county, the name of the Register, the number of deeds
recorded, the number of other instruments recorded, fees for deeds, fees for other instruments, number of pages required, expenses of the
office.
**House No. 25 Using the same title, on February 15, 1838, the Secretary of State submitted his report for 1837. The columns on the chart were the same.
Not all counties reported.
**House No. 36 Using the same title, on March 5, 1839, the Secretary of State submitted the report for 1838. The
columns on the chart were the same.
**House No. 28 This year, there was no cover title; the title, using the same words, came from the chart. On
February 7, 1840, the Secretary of State submitted the report for 1839. The columns on the chart were the same. Not all counties reported. (Digitized
