House No. 48 On March 16, 1836, a Joint Special Committee presented documents about the location of the courts in Middlesex County and presented An Act relating to certain courts in the county of Middlesex, 1836. The two courts presently meeting in Concord would be moved to Lowell in April 1837, provided Lowell provided suitable accommodations for the courts.
