Senate. Act to continue an act concerning the Warren Bridge, 1835
|
|
[No document number] Proposed amendment: If a person or corporation wanted to post bond and take over the care of the Warren Bridge, paying any and all costs arising from the suit before the Supreme Court of the United States, then the bridge would be a public highway and any toll money in the state Treasury would be paid to the obligors. The City of Boston could seek such a bond. [There is no explanation as to why anyone would want to do this.] (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts State Library).
