SEE ALSO 51707 On January 19, 1825, the Senate sent an Act to the House for concurrence. This is version 1. All real and personal estate put up for public auction must pay $1/$100 sold for personal property and 50c/$100 on real property. The duty was to be paid by the seller. Court ordered or tax sales or sales of church pews are exempt. Auctioneers must report on their sales. This was to be in force after April 1, 1825.
