July 17, 1779 proceedings of the Massachusetts Convention, established to carry into effect various measures approved by Congress. Included were price limits on certain goods, the procedure to be used to effectively carry out these limits, and punishments for those not abiding same. Proceedings of the convention begun and held at Concord, in the county of Middlesex, in and for the state of Massachusetts-Bay, on the 14th day of July, 1779, for the purpose of carrying into effect the several interesting and important measures recommended by Congress, to the inhabitants of the United-States, in their late wise, seasonable and animating address.
