1799, Digest of the laws to 1797 (Herty)
Digest of the Laws of Maryland, which were an alphabetical abridgment of all the public acts of the Assembly, in force from the first settlement of
the state to the end of November session 1797, with a separate appendix containing acts from the 1788 session. The volumes were edited by Thomas
Herty, and printed in 1799. Of note, there are two indices prefixed to the laws. One was the index of the contents; the other listed the laws under their
"head" or category. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Library of Congress).
