Two copies of a bill for regulating the militia of the Province of Maryland, which did not pass in the prior session, but was published on order of
the Lower House in 1756. Of note, the "excepted" men who were not considered for the militia were "Papists, the Persons commonly called Neutrals,
Servants, and Slaves." (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Harvard Law School Library(c. 1) and the Maryland State Library
(c.2)).
