Forty-third Legislature. Senate. No. 15 Report by the Committee on the Judiciary as to whether to allow the accused to testify at his or her criminal trial. The Committee said the state should consider every source of information on a case, whether civil or criminal, so it submitted a bill: An Act relating to evidence in criminal prosecutions, 1864.
