Thirty-sixth Legislature. House. No. 33. The Committee on Kansas Affairs and Slavery charged with responding to the part of the Governor's message about slavery and Kansas sent a fourteen page report of the political history of slavery in the United States and excoriating the current federal government. It then offered several somewhat confused resolves in opposition to slavery and its spread to previously free states.
