1845 Memorial from a Maine resident who had been forced to pay tolls for use of the St. Johns' River to the Province of New Brunswick, despite the Treaty of Washington which permitted the free transit through the river. Correspondence and other document which supported that petition were attached. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Library of Congress).
