Printer, 1915, all published. (The Illinois Public Utilities Commission {P.U.C.} was created in 1913 {See Ill. Gen. Assembly, Hse. Bill 907, enacted into
law June 30, 1913}, and began operations in January 1914. It succeeded, and assumed many of the duties of, the Illinois Railroad and Warehouse
Commission, which had functioned from 1870-1913. The P.U.C. was in turn replaced by the Illinois Commerce Commission in 1921. The opinions and decisions of
this later body are also offered on this site. Some of the annual reports of the Public Utilities Commission are offered on this site. The first of
these, 1914, contains on pp. 1-59 an extensive description of the Commission, its organization, and principal functions.)
