American and British Claims Arbitration: The Eastern Extension, Australasia and China Telegraph Company, Limited: Answer of the United States: 16p.,
Place of publication and publisher not identified, n.d. (The U.S. answer to a claim involving the Eastern Extension, Australasia and China Telegraph
Company. This claim and the Cuba Submarine Telegraph Company, are identical. They both involve compensation when U.S. naval forces cut submarine cables
during the Spanish American War (1898). In its answer the U.S. contends there is no evidence that the company was without notice of the intention of
U.S. forces to cut the cables. They also deny that by cutting the cables the U.S. took possession and control of the cables until the end of the
war.)
