1972–1995, Compiled by the Dept. of the Int., Office of Hearings and Appeals. (The first two volumes were titled "Digest of Indian Probate Law,’ with
coverage limited to that subject. Coverage now extends to all legal matters of Indians & Alaska Natives. Early volumes included citations to state
supreme & federal courts at all levels, Decisions of the Dept. of the Interior, Secretary's Orders, Unpublished Opinions of the Solicitor, Indian Claims
Commission Decisions, and the decisions of the boards of Indian & Lands Appeals. Current coverage is limited to the Board of Indian Appeals and
selected decisions from the Solicitor's Office and the Lands and Contract Boards. The Index is published in annual update volumes, which are subsequently
compiled into 5-year accumulations.
