3rd ed., 1758, with a modified title: An Analysis of the Laws of England, to which is prefixed an introductory discourse on the study of the law:
lxx+189+14p, same publisher. (This edition is the first with Blackstone’s name on the title page. He is designated as William Blackstone, esq., D.C.L.,
barrister at law and Vinerian professor of the laws of England in the University of Oxford. The discourse mentioned in the title was Blackstone’s
introductory lecture as Vinerian Professor at Oxford. It was also published separately, see Eller Titles no 233 and 234, P/L 10/13 below, and later
appeared in the Commentaries as Section One of the Introduction.)
