reference tool providing quick subject access to the totality of that vast body of pre-20th century legal literature. The West Company’s unique and
copyrighted "Key Number System" was introduced starting with the First Decennial, listed below. Since the class subdivisions utilized in the Century Edition do
not correspond exactly in coverage to the Key Numbers, a parallel conversion table is provided in Volume 21 of the First Decennial. This table
facilitates movement from the Century Edition section numbers to the Decennials’ Key Numbers. In addition, in both the First and Second Decennials, there is
a "See" reference beneath each boldface Key Number, which refers to the corresponding Centennial section number)
