this monograph series. This atypical addition to the series was occasioned by oil industry attempts to rebut Mr. Roy C. Cook’s Control of the
petroleum industry by major oil companies, TNEC Monograph # 39. It reprints the oil companies’ submissions, along with a rejoinder by Mr. Cook.)
