|
|
American Statute Law; An analytical and compared digest of the constitutions and civil public statutes of all the states and territories relating to general and business and private corporations in force July 1, 1892, by Frederic Jesup Stimson, xv+622p, Boston, The Boston Book Company, 1892. (A sister work by this same author, concentrating on the law of persons and property law can be found on this site under the title “US, Stimson, Am. Statute Law, Persons & Property 1886.” The title page of the present work bears the legend “Volume II,” testimony to the author’s intent to make this work part of a three-volume series, the last book of which would have covered adjective and criminal law. The latter work does not appear to have materialized, and, since the present work was issued at a much later date than its predecessor and by a different publisher, LLMC has elected to treat it online as a separate title.)
