A pamphlet written by Ira Allen on January 9, 1779 regarding the vindication of the conduct of the General Assembly of Vermont held at Windsor in
October 1778, against the allegations and remarks of the protesting members, with observations on this proceeding at a convention held at Cornith on
December 9, 1778. Of note, Ira Allen was brother of Ethan Allen and a politician and surveyor originally from Connecticut. The pamphlet discussed issues
regarding the New Hampshire Grants west of the Connecticut River, as well as some towns east of that river which wished to become Vermont.
