June 19, 1751 Petition to the king from various inhabitants of Rhode Island, along with House of Commons resolutions, regarding setting paper currency and instruments of currency to a specific standard and measure. Also included was a bill to regulate and restrain paper bills of credit and to prevent them from being used a legal tenders in payment of money.
