Senate. Comm. on the Judiciary. Act relating to the surviving of actions, 1842
Senate No. 50 In February 1842, the Committee on the Judiciary, in response to an order, reported a bill: An Act relating to the surviving of

trial for any cause was overruled, the rule had to be rendered to preserve the rights of the prevailing party and prevent loss by death of either
party. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Library of Congress).
