Senate No. 25 On February 2, 1842, the Committee on Matters in Probate and Chancery, in response to petitions, reported a bill: An Act to repeal
an act for the relief of insolvent debtors and for the more equal distribution or [sic] their effects, 1842. The repeal would not affect current cases
and would take effect March 1, 1842. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Library of Congress).
Title:   The Committee on Matters in Probate and Chancery, to whom were referred the petitions of Nathan Willis and others, Hubbard Bartlett and others, Stephen Pope and others, and Ardon Judd and others, praying that the insolvent law of this Commonwealth, passed on April 23d, 1838, may be repealed, report a bill.
