SEE ALSO 53537 House No. 28 Reported by a Special Committee: An Act in relation to the election of County Commissioners, Registers of Deeds, and
County Treasurers, 1841. All qualified voters, on the second Monday of November, would hand in a written ballot for these officers. The votes would
be received and counted according to statute. Whomever had a majority won a three year term. There was a long section of repeals of earlier
