Senate. Comm. on Naturalization Laws. Report, 1841
|
|
Senate No. 51 On March 9, 1841, a Committee studying the Resolves on naturalization laws, submitted a report. The Committee believed in an open door policy. It was not practical to examine every applicant as to their political and moral beliefs, so the current laws should not be modified. The text of the Resolves is not included, which is too bad. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Library of Congress).
