In sections 1-5, the metes and bounds of the Boston channel were laid out with references to a chart that was not present. The later sections decreed
that no incumbrance of any kind could project over or into the channel without leave from the Legislature. There were fines for impingement; the law
took effect when passed. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts State Library).
Title:   The Committee on Mercantile Affairs and Insurance, to whom was referred the "Report of the Commissioners for fixing the line of private property in Boston Harbor," have had the same under consideration, and report the accompanying bill.
