SEE ALSO 53328 On February 21, 1840, the Select Committee on the topic reported a bill: An Act concerning the powers of trustees, 1840. Judges
of Probate could authorize trustees to manage or sell real estate, as long as the judge thought the action would benefit the trust. The judge was to
be mindful of the interests of women and minors and was to require bond of a trustee seeking to act. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title
