House No. 50 The Committee on Roads and Bridges reported: An Act to establish Hancock Free Bridge, 1836. Three men and their associates were
incorporated as above, subject to Chapter 44 of the Revised Statutes to locate and build a bridge in the designated area, with a 24 hour draw and wharves
available. The corporation was to observe the usual procedures for acquiring land. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the
