SEE ALSO 52628 House No. 41 The committee considered the report of the Attorney General on the pauper accounts of five jurisdictions and decided
four of the five had done the right thing, but Cambridge needed to be sued. On March 9, 1836, it issued an order to sue Cambridge for overcharging
the state for the care of paupers. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Library of Congress).
Title:   The committee to whom was referred the report of the attorney general, relating to the pauper accounts of the towns of Middleton, Dorchester, Belchertown, Cambridge and Danvers, each of which was alleged to have received from the commonwealth a greater sum than was legally due, have attended to the subject, and respectfully report.
