House. Comm. on Manufactures. Petitions for incorporation, 1836
House No. 14 On January 20, 1836, the Committee on Manufactures was ordered to send a list to the House of all petitions for acts of incorporation
or for changes in an act, together with the amount of capital asked for each. On January 23, 1836, the list was presented: the name of the primary
petitioner, the product to be made, and the capital prayed for. There were 25 entries. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by
the Library of Congress).
Title:   Ordered, That the committee on manufactures be directed to report [A] to this House, as soon as may be, a list of all the petitions for acts of incorporation which have been referred to them, as well as those for alterations in existing acts of incorporation, with the amount of capital prayed for in each.
