**House No. 9 Mr. Simmons offered an order on January 14, 1836 asking the Committee on Banks and Banking to consider telling banks they could no
longer issue post notes. **House No. 10 Mr. Simmons offered an order on January 14, 1836 that the Committee on Banks and Banking consider
establishing a bank with a specie capital of $6-10,000,000, half subscribed by the State and half by individuals. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title
