House. Report on action on the Revised Statutes, 1835
|
|
House, (2d session,) No.3 On September 3, 1835, seven men were made a committee to facilitate action on the Revised Statutes. On September 4, 1835,
it reported eight orders. Examples were an order to appoint a Committee of Supervisors to read each chapter of the Statutes, all substantial
amendments were to be in writing, and several chapters were to be reprinted. All but two joint standing committees were disbanded on September 4, 1835.

The committee to consider what further arrangements may be necessary to facilitate the action of this House upon the Revised Statutes, have attended to the duty assigned them, and ask leave to report the following orders for the adoption of the House.
