Senate. Act to continue an act concerning the Warren Bridge, 1835
Senate (2d Session) No. 8 An Act to continue in force an act concerning the Warren Bridge, 1835. The act passed on March 28, 1833 would remain in
force until March 1836. The Senate passed this on September 30, 1835 and the House concurred, with amendments, on October 23, 1835. Amendments: Any
tolls already taken were to be reserved for maintenance of the Warren Bridge and the purchase of other city bridges, making them free of toll. There
would be no toll on the Warren Bridge after July 4, 1840. Any corporation could post bond and look after the Warren Bridge, but the Supreme Court case
had not been decided, so it could get complicated. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts State Library).
