Title:   Ordered, that the Committee on the Judiciary inquire into the expediency of providing by law for a uniform mode of indemnifying the owners of pews in any meeting-house in this commonwealth, when the same shall have been taken down, altered or removed, by an parish or religious society to which the same belongs.
