SEE ALSO 52679, 52693 On March 3, 1835, the Committee on the Militia reported a new draft: An Act in addition to the several acts for the
regulating, governing, and training of the militia of this Commonwealth, 1835. Much of the 1834 Act was repealed. The volunteer companies would remain in
place. There was a list of persons who could NOT enlist. If any one made fun of the militia, they could be fined. If an officer appeared unfit for
