SEE ALSO 52699 Senate No. 47 On March 7, 1835, the Joint Select Committee on Salaries of Prosecuting Officers reported a bill: An Act concerning
the salaries of the prosecuting officers of the Commonwealth, 1835. The salary for the Southern District Attorney would be $1200/yr.; the salary of
the Northern District Attorney would be $1100/yr, paid quarterly and the men would account for all fees. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title
